Belport was a city founded by jmvvana for the 1.8 Creative Map.
History
According to founder jmvvana (Lucite)
Belport was founded by jmvvana on August 9th, 2015. Belport quickly became one of PCB's largest and most popular cities within the month, and was commonly compared in size and quality to Portland, Budapest, Clarita and Port Royal. Portland was Belport's rival city, with the two constantly trying to one-up eachother. A common slogan from the time states "Belport has height, Portland has girth" or "Portland is larger but Belport is taller". When Lucite was founded, Belport became one of the starting members and holds a permanent seat in the Lucite Parliament. Belport is a city made up of skyscrapers and high rises. Several months after its peak, jmvvana abandoned Belport in favor of Portland and Budapest. Belport fell into disrepair and several of its buildings were donated to other cities like Konin and Budapest. Belport is now the butt of many jokes and is seen as a major disgrace to jmvvana and his PCB legacy. Belport is now a landmark of nostalgia and some pretty gross builds. It houses many memes including a giant pixel art of handsome squidward and a small Borborist shrine. In its prime, Belport was one of PCB's boomtowns and favorite cities.
