UTC

UTC, or The United Transportation Corporation, is a conglomerate of transport-related companies in the Creative 1.7 Map. The conglomerate was founded out of two of the map's major transit corportations, National Railways (NR) and Derp Co. Transit Systems (DCTS), respectively. The conglomerate was founded in late October, 2014. The HQ is located in Epsilon City, CMP.

History

The official founding date is not known, but the UTC conglomerate was founded sometime between mid-to late October of 2014. The three presidents of the company, Amphitryon, AngelSentinel, and odiousderp founded UTC as a way to simplify the map's already massive transportation system.

In early November, after the press release sent out by NR, construction began on a skyscraper in Epsilon City bearing the UTC logo, situated adjacent to the existing Epsilon City Station building, run by National Railways.

In mid-November, construction began on an additional second building to the NRlabs building, and a renaming took effect, changing NRlabs to UTClabs and Raymont Service Center. The additional warehouse is to be used for UTC projects such as UTC Ferries and PCTA.

In late December of 2014, UTC acquired Park City's mass transit organization, Park City Transit Auth. (PCTA), which included all rights to both rail systems as well as bus and streetcar.

In March of 2015, it was announced that [Trusted]odiousderp was to leave the server. The other presidents were to take over.

Services

UTC provides many services for cities on the map.

Rail

UTC fully is in control of the map's largest functional rail system, National Railways, founded by Amphitryon in June of 2014. In addition, UTC is in control of Acra City's mass transit as well as Park City's. Another rail project UTC manages is YoshiRail, a long-distance above-ground elevated rail system in Acra City and Delfino.
