The nation was formed June 11th, 2018 by MattDB, Masterboatman, MrMuffinFish, and Dantosky from EstevaoBuilder and Jmvvana's Republic of Helvetia. Founded originally as "The Grand Republic of Diuettium", a council ruled state, the nation was referred to as either "The Grand Republic", "The Republic", or "Diuetta".
