In 2019, Colin County Public Schools conducted a feasibility study of modernizing or rebuilding Riverdale High School. Colin County decided to rebuild the school because the high ceilings of the old building would make it difficult to improve. Colin County Public Schools used C + H Construction for the new building and used the same design as [[Waterleaf High School]] with a few differences. Colin County made the old Riverdale High School; Riverdale Middle School. | |||
