TheOctopus (or simply Octo) is an administrator on PCB who typically assists with backend projects such as website and plugin upkeep. Octo joined PCB on 17 August 2013 and became the most recently promoted administrator on 24 May 2018.

Personal history
Pre-staff (2013-2014)
Octo was promoted to Trusted on 3 January 2014 following a nomination by former staff member Yomigaere. Octo was promoted to Moderator on 2 April 2014.
As staff (2014-present)
Octo was promoted to Operator on 3 May 2014 after a successful one-month trial as Moderator. Octo was promoted alongside Mannriah to Senior Operator on 2 September 2016.
Octo was a major figure in the 2018 PCB website and forum upgrade. Octo suggested Discourse as a replacement for Simple Machines Forums, the previous forum software used by PCB, and assisted with many of the preparatory and clean-up tasks throughout the transition. For this work, Octo was promoted to Administrator on 24 May 2018.
