The Padaic States (formerly Padaic Republic) were founded by user _ColinH due to general interest in ruling his own nation. As a result, his state Esteria (now [[Espen]]) seceded from the [[United Republic]].


[[List of Staff Members|MattDB]] joined the nation on July 16, 2019, and renamed it to the Padaic Republic after his territory, Pada, which was made the capitol of the nation. In addition, MattDB added [[Port Hylan]] into the newly formed republic; the first city in the Padaic States to have a warp. MattDB and _ColinH became are the current presidents.
