After forming the new nation, president Travis of the United Republic started a naval base in [[Marshia|Marshia,]] a territory of Usonia, which Marshy_88 claimed was his although _ColinH had started the suburban town back in May. Arguments started between the two countries about who owned the land. Travis gave a plan to split Marshia and have half in the [[United Republic]] and half in the Padaic Republic. _ColinH agreed to this as long as Travis was to build an embassy and complete it before August 18, 2019. Things were fine between the two countries for about 1 day.  Later, President Travis, asked for all of Marshia just with an open border. Matt and Colin did not like those terms so more arguing insued.  Eventually Colin agreed as long as Travis would discontinue, militarizing the area. After the dispute was over the two countries were getting along fine and Travis even built the [[Unity Bridge]] as a symbol of peace.  Travis started building the embassy but then hauled construction.  On August 16, Colin asked Travis when he planned to finish it and Travis said that he would be a little late.  Colin, not thinking, decided to argue about the completion of the embassy, and after a good 30 minutes, Travis agreed to complete the embassy.  The embassy remains open in [[List of Buildings in Illemont|Illemont]] today.

User Marshy_88 claimed ownership of the territory although President _ColinH had already begun construction on a town there. Disputes began over the ownership of the land. Eventually a plan was proposed by President _Travis to split the land between the two nations. President _ColinH agreed to this on the condition that President _Travis was to build an embassy in the Padaic States and complete it before August 18, 2019. Later, President _Travis requested that the agreement be changed and requested the land of Marshia for the UR but would allow for "open borders." Presidents MattDB and _ColinH did not agree. Finally an agreement was made that the land would be given to the UR so long as President _Travis halted the militarization of Marshia. As a symbol of piece, President _Travis commissioned the [[Unity Bridge]] for the Padaic States and soon after completed construction of the UR Embassy in [[Illemont]].
