Before it was abandoned, beyond repair it was a place for many Aastivanian workers. This building has caved in roofs and burnt up boilers. And the company originally was a coal mine then later, made lightbulbs. The building can be separated into 10 different parts, the brick buildings, are the most damaged, while the metal-roofed rows are barely changed from what they used to be. The Caleum-air company has fixed the ventilation in their section of the building in Pic(2) and added a new lamp that overhangs the path. The big sign in the front has disappeared (presumably from the gutting) as well as a small truck building, that now holds a rubble dumpster where the scrap is thrown from higher floors. The shutter and plywood windows have also seemed to be removed, and a barbwire chain-link fence was put around the front of the property, to stop debris from getting out, and people from getting in. | |||
