Padaic States

History, Location, and Official Government

• The Padaic Republic, officially, the Republic of Padaics, is a Federal Republic that follows a Semi-presidential system. It sits in the Eastern Portion of the World, around the Capital city of Pada, the namesake of the Republic, and Espen, Illemont. It came into existence July 16th, 2019, being founded by CGH_2005 and MattDB. Espen, the State around Illemont, was the first state admitted into the Union.

Fictional Lore

• • The Age of Rising Civilizations... the Lands were not unified yet, the people of continents sought to create societies after ages of traveling, and many of those peoples indeed made one. One of such people, was the Legendary Founder Padian I, the namesake of "Pada", who unified his people and land to the great new settlement. Padian's story, and specifically the story of the City of Pada, is said to have started two millenniums ago. Pada arose, becoming one of the first societies to plan architectures on engraved stone, and, subsequently, following a design that is said to look Greco-Roman.
  • Pada grew rapidly! Its inhabitants arrived from the lands surrounding it, who pledged their loyalty to Padian, and eventually became the Padaics. They created their first Empire, called the Padaic Empire, and all chose Padian as their Emperor. From his city, Padian expanded his new Empire along the many lands.
  • Seventy Years later, the Emperor began to feel very ill. Fearing death, he asked many scouts, groups, and armies to find the best doctors to cure him. One of such, was a spiritualist, who told the Emperor Padian that 'The Soils' as the World as commonly called, had a counterpart, called 'The Heavens', in which all people go to after they pass on. So, Padian began to follow this religion, that quickly blossomed around his Empire, and became known as the Capada. Padian later sought out the Spiritualist again to show him the Original Caves of Capada, in which the story is passed on from generation to generation about the Soils and the Heavens colliding and bringing the peoples home. There, Padian passed away at the age of ninety, and left his Empire without an heir.
  • The Padaic Empire descended into despair and hosted a funeral for their Emperor, before its people decided that a new government should be created. The people saw no sole person worthy of continuing Padian's Empire, so, they decided to vote, and created the Padaic Republic. So, in what was called the First Great Council of Padaics, they chose their next leader. They created the position of Chancellor, and in some cases, two Chancellors, and created a Senate. From there, all Padaics sought to continue what Padian started collectively, and continued his legacy. The Padaics created a culture, and a world of their own, in which all of their people were given equality, liberty, and freedom in favor of the first Great Council.
