Dema not only serves as the economic capital of the Federation, but also serves as the interim capital of the federation as the new capital is being built. Dema lies along the Bishop River, and lies at the delta of the Bishp River, and River of Angels. Dema is a strategically pointed city as it falls along several trade routes and the geography of the area is quite rich in natural resources.
