History of Southport

  • 1856: Settlers fleeing Budapest settle in a small valley.
  • 1868: More Budapestian separatists move to the valley, and name it Southport.
  • 1915: Southport begins to grow, because of the ongoing world war that is not affecting it.
  • 1930: Southport enters a Great Depression, putting many on the streets and without jobs.
  • 1944: As the second world war rages, refugees flood to Southport to escape the war.
  • 1950-1985: Southport enters a period of great prosperity. Scientists make advancements in technology, medical science, and military weapons
  • 1985-1991: After creating these weapons, Southport is eager to test them. They join the country of Volare and start fighting North Korea.

* 1987: Southport has a bomb dropped on its Judicial building, killing more than 4000 people

* 1991: Protesters led by JakeTFS and Slimjim9987 demand peace. The war ends, and JakeTFS and Slimjim9987 take office.

  • 2001: Southport has another economic boom, and attracts, even more, people to the city.
  • 2013: A war with Neo-Canada begins, and Slimjim9987 resigns his position.
  • 2017: This "cold war" with Neo-Canada never gets hot, but is still around today.
