The Hope Metropolitan Area, sometimes abbreviated as Hope Met Area or HMA, is a higher-tier administrative body similar to the Tri-City Region.

Summary
While Park City is and has continually been the largest city in the area, the Hope Met Area is named after the city of Hope as it was the first city in the region. Government offices are located in Park City (address: 102 Magnolia St. Park City, CMP, 22204) (PCTA M1 Station: Gov't Offices).
