=== Labor camp ===

In the first two centuries Sovisk was exclusively built up by prisoners sent from [[Kreznik]], which were imprisoned in the ''Sovisk Gulag''(Russian short form: SovisLag). The number of prisoners increased annually. In summer 1953 prisoners organized the non-violent Sovisk uprising. Over a thousand participants were either moved to different prisons or were shot. 1956 the labour camp was closed and every evidence of it was removed, except an old ruin of it which is still standing today.

=== Airfield ===

With the help of historical documents and testimonies of prisoners proving the claim, it is said that near the Shkolnaya Ulitsa there has been an airfield which was operated by a small military outpost, connected to the Sovislag labour camp. This explains the '''B-377SGT-201''' standing in the middle of a micro-district. It is believed that the plane got captured on a mission in 1975 and was brought to the airfield to be dismantled. However, the airfield was closed the following year and the plane was left standing there, hidden in a small forest, which had grown over the years surrounded by a couple of buildings, which had been built so the plane could not be seen. Following constructions during the "Sovisk Southern Expansion and Clean-Up Program" unveiled the plane, however, as it couldn't be moved, the micro-district had to be built around it.
